NPTa_2016jul5

Hello and welcome to MFT’s June New Product Launch! Everything we’ve been teasing you with for the last five days is now available for purchase in the MFT Boutique right now!

I was SO excited to see Who’s That Girl re-emerge for MFT’s 10th birthday celebrations! She was there when I found MFT and I always loved her so this is like homecoming to me. I decided a gift set using it would be the perfect thing so I did a gift card holder and a matching wine bottle tag.

Before I get to that, though, I wanted to share that I, along with four amazing MFT designers, have a project in this month’s Release Class, which can be found HERE in the Resourses section at the MFT Blog.

Now, to my project. I started with a
Stone Gray card stock base, then cut Blueprints 30 Die-namics from Ranger Watercolor paper. I watercolored just the “frame” with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush by masking off the center part, then stamped the image with Black Licorice hybrid ink and watercolored it as well. I added a mirror cut from Silver Shine card stock (hard to tell in the photo) and added the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Cement Gray card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, popped up on foam mounting tape. I finished off with clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

On the inside, I created the back of the holder with Watercolor Wash Paper Pack, cut the card slits, and stamped another sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink.

For the wine bottle tag, I started with Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, and elongated it with creative die-cutting ;-) I rounded the top by hand and cut the hole with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I cut another fishtail flag from Ranger Watercolor paper and watercolored it similarly to the card front, added the wine bottle and glasses, and a similar sentiment treatment.

And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR WTG Time For the Bubbly stamp set and WTG Time For the Bubbly Die-namics in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…happy shopping!! And don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, July 7th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on Friday, Friday, July 8th. Good luck!!
