Hi, everyone! Welcome to Day Four of MFT’s November Release Countdown!! Remeber that release is on November 1st, at 10pm EDT. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing BB Polar Bear Pals Stamp Set, BB Polar Bear Pals Die-namics, BB Icebergs Die-namics, Horizontal Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics, Stitched Rounded Rectangle Frames Die-namics, and Stitched Rounded Square Frames Die-namics. Also being released this month are Premium Dye Ink Cubes – Sets 3, 10, 11, and 12.
I always love it when Birdie Brown releases another set of her bears!! They are always just so sweet and this set is no exception. I have a couple of cards using the set today so lets get started.
My first card also uses the new BB Icebergs Die-namics—so stinkin’ CLEVER!! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I cut the new Horizontal Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and also from Ranger Watercolor Paper on which I applied a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, and created my background by using both of them.
I stamped the sentiment on one of the Sweet Tooth card stock elements, popped the whole thing up with foam mounting tape on the base, and added BB Icebergs Die-namics, also cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I stamped the images with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card, cut them out with the coordinating dies, colored them with Copic markers, and also popped them up on foam. What a “cool” scene!
*****
My second card uses the new Stitched Rounded Rectangle Frames Die-namics.
This card started out the same way as the first, with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and a watercolored background along with Snow Drifts Die-namics, Puffy Clouds Die-namics, and a Sunshine card stock sun cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics. The frame was popped up on foam mounting tape and the scene built around it.
The bear and the trees (from Chill Wishes) were stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped on the background before assembly.
And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT’s November Release Countdown!
