Hey, everyone, it’s time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! The awesome Amy Rohl is our hostess this week and she has chosen a cool palette based on her cool inspiration piece.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base added a background created by applying Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor Paper with a waterbrush. I added Snow-Capped Mountains Die-namics, cut from Grout Gray card stock, Cement Gray card stock, and Sweet Tooth card stock, along with Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics cut from more Sweet Tooth card stock.
I stamped the sentiment, from Merry Everything with Black Licorice hybrid ink before popped the snow drifts up on foam mounting tape, then added trees from BB Beast Friends, colored with Copic markers.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD414 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd414 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented October Guest Designer, Erin Lee Schreiner!
