Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I thought this sketch would be a great one with which to build a scene. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added some paper from Calm & Cozy Chevron Paper Pack. Next I created my scene background on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush and “framed” it with Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Inside & Out Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, popped up on foam mounting tape.
I added Puffy Clouds Die-namics, a Sunshine card stock sun cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics, and a LLD Flamingos Die-namics cut from Tickled Pink card stock, Bubblegum card stock, Stone Gray card stock, Sweet Tooth card stock, and Black Licorice card stock. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped it up on foam to finish.
And that’s it from me today! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
