Hello there!! It’s time, it’s time!! MFT’s November Release is now available for purchase in the MFT Online Boutique! Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details and to see how you can have a chance to win free stuff!
I have a couple of cards for you using Chill Wishes and Chill Wishes Die-namics, but first I want to tell you that I’m tickled pink to have done two of the classes in this month’s Release Classes. You can find them and three more HERE on the MFT site.
And now, on to my cards. My first card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I sponged a sky on Smooth White card stock with Coral Crush dye ink and Blue Yonder dye ink and adhered it to the base. I created a slider using Downhill Slope Die-namics, Spin & Slide Discs, and foam mounting tape.
Then I stamped the images on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating dies, colored with Copic markers, and added them to the card. Before adhered the top layer, I stamped the sentiment. I finished up with some Puffy Clouds Die-namics.
Here’s a quick little video showing the action of my little snow boarder. You can see it in HD HERE on YouTube.
*****
I just love this little penguin, don’t you?
I started this card with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added several elements to build my scene. Ranger Watercolor Paper, Peerless Watercolors, and a waterbrush were used for the water and the sky. Sweet Tooth card stock and Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics for the foreground and the snowy backdrop, a Sunshine card stock and Blueprints 21 Die-namics for the sun, and more Sweet Tooth card stock for the Puffy Clouds Die-namics and BB Icebergs Die-namics. I added some Copic coloring to the icebergs to bring out the dimension created with score lines and popped them up on foam mounting tape for a very realistic look.
The penguin was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on foam. The sentiment was stamped before I adhered the foreground.
And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR Chill Wishes stamp set and Chill Wishes Die-namics in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, November 3rd. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on Friday, November 4th. Good luck!!
