Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Blu Raspberry, Ripe Raspberry, Blue Yonder, and Black Licorice. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
As soon as I saw these colors I knew I wanted to use Basic Shapes – Circle Stencil for it. First I created a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut a panel of Smooth White card stock with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 and began to stencil circles with Premium Dye Inks in the challenge colors. I did a quick trial on my grid pad but pretty much replicated that on my card.
Once the stenciling was done, I popped the panel up on foam tape, then added a sentiment from Kind Thanks Stamp Set heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock and Twice the Thanks Die-namics, cut from Silver Sparkle Card Stock and twice from white card stock, layered them, and then adhered to the card front. To finish off I added some Silver Sprinkles.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
