I adore the new Happy Birthday Script Die-namics! You really don’t need anything else except a good background and a few simple embellishments to create a gorgeous card! This was probably the second alcohol ink background I created and couldn’t use it for what I was making it for. Imagine my surprise when I dropped some Slate (deep GRAY) alcohol ink on Yupo paper and started to work it! It developed into a gorgeous verdigris and copper pattern! So I set it aside and knew it would come in handy at some point and this is that point. I matted it with Tangy Orange card stock and popped it up on a Sno Cone card stock base.

Then I cut Happy Birthday Script Die-namics from Copper Sparkle card stock, layered it with a Tangy Orange copy and a Sno Cone copy and adhered it to the card front. To finish off I added some Metallic Copper Penny Nuvo Crystal drops and called it done! It came together really quickly since the background was already done.

And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR new September goodies in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that
MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, September 6th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on Friday, September 7th—it’s gonna be a lucky day for someone!
