Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
With tomorrow being July 4th and Independence Day in the US, I decided some fireworks were in order! I started by stamping three fireworks images from Fireworks Stamp Set with Versamark and heat embossed them in two stages using gold and silver detail embossing powders on After Midnight card stock. To add to the night time look I then splattered some stars using slightly watered-down Copic Opaque White and a small craft brush.
Once that was dry I matted it with Gold Shine card stock, wrapped some Translucent Vellum around, secured it to the back of the card front, then popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. I cut Celebrate Die-namics from Gold Shine and Silver Sparkle card stocks, adhered them together slightly off-center, and adhered them to the vellum band for the finish!
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
