Have a Sweet Day–Color Throwdown Challenge #550

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Wanda is our hostess and she’s got my mouth watering with the yummy looking cake in her inspiration photo!

Obviously, I had to use MFT’s fairly new Watermelon Slice Die-namics, right? Of course I did! I created two of the smaller slices, cut from Wild Cherry, Field Day, Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice card stocks and set them aside. Next I stamped the top element using Watercolor Stripes Background with Field Day Dye ink on Green Room card stock, added a strip of Black Licorice card stock, tied around some hemp twine, and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base covered with Tiny Checks Paper Pack.

Then I arranged my watermelon slices and added the sentiment, using Sweet Die-namics and Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set for the finish! Sweet!!
