Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I wanted to do something besides just stripes for that corner element so I thought if I went with a birthday theme I could use bows—like a gift package, KWIM? I think it works. So, working directly on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I cut Stitched Beautiful Bows Die-namics from three patterns of Over the Rainbow Paper Pack and adhered them strips of the same paper in that corner.
To fill in the space below, I sponged Pineapple, Orange Zest, and Razzle Berry dye inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper in a fade pattern and cut Happy Birthday Script from it and twice from scrap white card stock. I adhered them together with spray adhesive and adhered them to the card front, along with a few clear sequins to finish off.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
