I made a bridge card today using the stamped starburst as the bridging element. First I sponged Some Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Distress Inks (see colors below) then splattered with clean water and slightly watered-down Copic Opaque White for the stars. Then I scored my 4 1/4” x 8” sponged paper at 1 1/4” and 2 1/2” from each end, folded, and burnished the folds
I sponged another piece of paper the same way, cut it out with Circle STAX Set1 Die-namics and heat embossed the starburst image with white detail embossing powder. Next I heat embossed silver embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Starburst Sentiment Strips Die-namics and popped it up on the starburst with foam tape. Both of these were popped up on Silver Sparkle card stock cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips which was adhered on each side to bridge the card. I finished off with some stars cut from Silver Sparkle card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 & 6 Die-namics.
And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT’s August Card Kit Countdown!
