Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
While I was fishing around for an idea, I spied this sky background in my stash and decided it would be perfect! It was made by sponging Blue Breeze dye ink on Sweet Tooth card stock using Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and a sponge dauber. Then I drew on the telephone wires with a ruler and a black Copic multiliner pen.
Once I determined this would work I cut Stitched Done STAX Die-namics from more Sweet Tooth card stock, popped it up on foam tape on the sky background, then adhere it all to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the wire with foam tape.
The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam tape. I added some hearts, cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6 from Red Hot and Razzle Berry card stocks for the finish.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
