Shine Bright - Starry Night Card Kit Releases in Two Days!

Hi everyone, welcome to Day One of Starry Night,
MFT’s September Card Kit. This kit is so much fun—you’re going to love it, PLUS some additional products are being released at the same time! Release is on September 17th at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars and set your clocks! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and to see more inspiration from the design team.

For today’s card I created a night sky using the Night Sky Color Burst Trio including in the kit. I’m really beginning to love these Color Bursts! Maybe enough to ditch my beloved Peerless watercolors; we’ll have to see about that but I’m sure having fun with them. After that dried and I spattered it with some slightly watered down Copic Opaque White, I cut Starry Night – Vertical Die-namics and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. Two sentiments from Starry Night Sentiments were heat embossed—the small one on Black Licorice card stock with white detail embossing powder and the larger one on Translucent Vellum with silver detail embossing powder.

The smaller sentiment was adhered directly and the larger with clear foam tape. I added some stars cut from Silver Sparkle card stock with Stitch-able Falling Stars Die-namics, popped up on bits of foam and finished off with some enamel dots.

And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT’s August Card Kit Countdown!
