Ring in the new year (a brand new decade!) with glamorous looks that feature lots of shimmer & shine. Use any of our glittered card stocks, metallic card stocks, foil dies, or technique of your choice to create unforgettable looks that sparkle.
This was the challenge the Design Team was given for the last MFT Hits & Highlights of 2019. Wow. Seems strange to type that as it seems 2019 just started, am I right? Whew!
I love gold and dark blue together so that’s the direction in which I went for this card. I started by sponging the card front on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper cut with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1 using Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot Distress Inks and once it was dry I dry embossed with Radiating Rays Stencil and splattered it with gold acrylic ink. Then I matted it with Gold Shine card stock cut with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 and popped them both up on an After Midnight card stock card base with foam tape.
I cut the 2020 from Gold Sparkle card stock with Impact Numbers Die-namics, adhered them with foam tape and finished off with a sentiment from Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp set heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock in gold to tie it all together.
And there you have it—thanks so much for stopping by today! See you in 2020!
