Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week our hostess is Amy Rohl and she has a great color combo for us based on her seasonal inspiration piece.
I started by stamping Rose Garden Stamp Set on No Line Coloring card stock, cutting it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and coloring it with Copic markers. I had the idea to add some gold to this card so I added some gold gel pen to the centers of a couple of roses. Once the coloring was done I popped it up on Black Licorice card stock matted with Gold Shine Card stock and adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.
Next I cut Little Hello Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock and twice from white card stock scraps and adhered them together in a stack with spray adhesive. The sentiment from Well, Hello Stamp Set was heat embossed with gold fine detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and adhered directly to the rose die cut. To finish off I adhered the gold die cut Hello and was done!
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD584 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd584 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week along with our March Guest Designer, Cat Craig!
