Hi there, and welcome to Day Two of MFT’s June Mid-month Release countdown! Release is on June 23rd at 10am Eastern so make a note :) Today we’re previewing Floral Fantasy, Corner Blooms, Fanciful Roses Background, and Floating Petals Background. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration from the Design Team.
I’m using Floating Petals Background for this card. Again, I heat embossed the background but this time I did it on Ranger Watercolor paper with clear detail embossing powder and then applied a wash with some Ken Oliver Color Bursts. Once that was dry I splattered with clean water and black acrylic ink. Next I matted the panel with Silver Sparkle card stock and adhered it to a Grape Jelly card stock base with foam tape. Then I cut A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped them up on the card front, lapping one over the other.
Next I cut Lush Lagoon card stock with Little Notes Sentiment Strips and heat embossed a sentiment from Little Birthday Notes Stamp Set with silver detail embossing powder and popped it up on foam. To finish off, I cut Scripty Smile Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and twice from white scraps then adhered them together before popping it up on foam tape as well.
And there you have it for Day Two of MFT’s June Mid-month Release! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the final day of previews.
