Sending Smooches - MFT January Outside the Box Challenge

Do you feel that? In the air? That's love. Thanks to the unique assembly of box cards, you can create scenes that feature hearts that appear to be floating on air. That's not all, though. Our team has ideas — lots of them — for bringing the love to their box card scenes. Take a cue from them as you spread the love in the coming weeks.

I had never had a chance to play with SY Kissing Booth Stamp Set and Die-namics and thought this was a perfect chance to use it. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

I cut the box with Outside the Box, Outside the Box Level Up, and Outside the Box Grass Die-namics. I added Summertime Polka Dots Patterned Paper to the front and sides, and sponged the sky with Broken China Distress Ink and Mini Cloud Edges Stencil.

Once the box was constructed the images were added along with the sentiment, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details!

  1. This scene is just so cute, Barbara!! I love how you combined the regular Outside the Box with the Level Up dies. Question: It looks like you added the background piece higher than normal - what size envelope did this need?

  2. Barbara, this is just adorable - love the scene you created!! I am wondering what size envelope you needed for this card as it looks as if you have the background piece higher than normal.
