Celebrate You, MFT's July Card Kit, Releases Tomorrow!

Hi there and welcome to Day One Countdown for Celebrate You, MFT's July Card Kit. Release is tomorrow, July 27, at 10am Eastern so don't miss it! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

I love these party hats from It's Your Day Stamp Set and Die-namics so I decided to make them the focus of today's card. To begin, and on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I adhered a border of Party Time Patterned Paper. Next I cut a shorter panel of Smooth White card stock for the card front and sponged Summer Splash dye ink through Watercolor Wash Square Stencil, and leaving the stencil in place, spattered with black acrylic ink.

The sentiment from It's Your Day Stamp Set was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink and the panel adhered to the card base with foam tape. Next I stamped the hats, using some of the card kit colors on Smooth White card stock and to add some dimension, created some fuzz around the bottom and a pom pom on top using Amplify texture foam.

Once this was heated and set, the party hats were popped up on foam on the card front and I finished off with some matte enamel dots.

And there you have it from me today! Thank so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the release of Celebrate You, MFT's July Card Kit!
