Hey there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Wanda is our hostess and she's chosen some pretty neutrals for us to work with. Hope to see you playing along with us this week!
I've chosen BB Cat-astrophe Stamp Set and Die-namics because these looked like cat colors to me, LOL! To that end, I stamped three kitties with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.
Next I cut MEOW from Black Licorice card stock using In Stitches Alphabet Die-namics. To coordinated the colors more, I stamped a Sweet Tooth card stock panel with Distressed Patterns stamp set and Butterscotch, Cement Gray, and Extreme Black hybrid inks along with a sentiment from the set, then popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.
The letters were adhered with foam tape and I finished off by popping the colored kitties up on foam as well.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD650 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd650 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
