What's Up, Witches? MFT & Friends August Feature

Hello! It's time for the August MFT and Friends Feature! The new release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details, more inspiration, and a chance to win a prize!

I hadn't had a chance to use this adorable TI Sweet Little Spell yet so I got her out for this card. To begin, I created my background using Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot Distress Inks. Once dry, I spattered with slightly watered-down white craft paint and set it aside to complete drying.

Next I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut it out with the Coordinating Die-namics, and colored it with Copic markers. Then I adhered the background onto a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape and began to create the rest of the components.

A2 Stitched Circle STAX and Sweet Tooth card stock for the big ol' moon, Grassy Edges Die-namics and Jalapeño Popper card stock for the foreground, Black Licorice card stock for Spooky House and Haunted House die-namics, and Orange Zest card stock for Spooky Fence which was sponged heavily with Black Soot Distress Ink to create the rusted look.

The sentiment was heat embossed on the Jalapeño Popper foreground before it was adhered, and all elements were adhered either directly or popped up on foam for dimension with a white gel pen used for the eyes on the bat.

Once all that was done the colored image was popped upon foam for the finish!

Visit each of the designer posts linked on the MFT Blog today and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, August 12, for your chance to WIN one of two, $100 MFT Shopping Sprees. The winners with be chosen at random and announced August 13. Start now because you don't want to miss a single post!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
