Hi, everyone! It’s that magical time of the month were we start showing you teasers for the upcoming release! We have another super line up for your this month—today we’re previewing Lisa Johnson Designs Splendid Sunflower, Lisa Johnson Designs Splendid Sunflower Die-namics, Pure Innocence Pretty Pumpkin, and Blueprints 6 Die-namics. Be sure to check out what other design team members have for you today, along with details about all of these products at the MFT Blog. Release is on Tuesday, August 6th at 10pm.
I have a card using LJD Splendid Sunflower and Die-namics LJD Splendid Sunflower today. I’m also using another new product being released this month: Die-namics Pierced Square STAX to emboss the frame behind the sunflower.
I stamped the die cut sunflower with Lemon Drop ink on Sweet Tooth card stock then added some shading with a Copic marker. I stamped the center with Sour Apple ink and the outer ring with Kraft ink. The leaves and stem were stamped with Jellybean Green ink and the leaves also go the Copic marker treatment. Everything was popped up on foam then popped up on a Sweet Tooth card base. I added the sentiment from the set on a Die-namics Sentiment Strips element and finished off with some enamel dots.
Here’s the inside with a sentiment from another new set this month, Sending Thanks.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by! Lots of blogging happening this week—hope to see you back!
