Hi, everyone! It’s MFT New Product Tour and time to shop! All the new product is available right NOW, in the MFT Boutique!
I have four cards for you using the new AWESOME Lisa Johnson set, LJD Birthday Greetings. I seriously cannot get enough of this set—I predict you will be seeing it lots from me :)
My first card also uses a set released last month, Abstract Art for some background interest. I stamped the brush strokes with the new Tangy Orange ink, Sour Apple ink, and the also new, Banana Split ink, then stamped the sentiment from LJD Birthday Greetings with Black Licorice ink. I used the same colors and the brush drops image to create a little strip of color behind the sentiment panel and layered it with Black Licorice card stock. The frame for the sentiment was made with Die-namics First Class Friend Die Only and the whole thing was popped up on foam. I finished it off with some black and white twine and a Black Licorice button.
For the inside, I stamped another sentiment from LJD Birthday Greetings.

My second card also used another new set this month: Party Balloons, along with it’s coordinating Die-namics Party Balloons dies. As part of our 7th birthday bash, three of our July release products are available exclusively through our website, mftstamps.com. You'll find Party Balloons stamp set, Die-namics Party Balloons, and Die-namics Happy Birthday only at mftstamps.com.
First of all, I used another new product this month, Die-namics Modern Morocco as an embossing plate and embossed a layer of Sweet Tooth card stock. I adhered this to a Razzle Berry card stock card base. I stamped the sentiment from LJD Birthday Greetings on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder on a Die-namics Heirloom Label die cut. Then I cut my balloons from Smooth White card stock and stamped them with Lemon Drop ink, Sour Apple ink, and Razzle Berry ink. I popped the label and the balloons (with baker’s twine strings) up on foam and added some sequins for accent.
Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.

My third card uses another Lisa Johnson set this month: LJD Bitty Banners and matching dies, Die-namics LJD Bitty Banners. I stamped a sentiment from LJD Birthday Greetings on Kraft card stock, rounded the bottom corners, and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I made my banner by cutting Red Hot card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, Lemon Drop card stock, Sour Apple card stock, Blu Raspberry card stock, Grape Jelly card stock and stamping the little streamer from LJD Bitty Banners on each with Black Licorice ink. I added a Black Licorice card stock star cut with Die-namics Star STAX and attached it to a hemp cord line, then popped it up on foam.
And here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set:

For my final card, I first stamped a border, from LLD Jumbo Mod Borders, another new set this month, with Black Licorice ink on a Kraft card stock base. I added a panel of Primitive Cream card stock, some black corrugated paper, and then a sentiment circle, cut with—also new this month—Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink and the candle colored with water-based markers. I finished it off with a Die-namics Fancy Flourish made with Sour Apple card stock and a Tangy Orange card stock Die-namics Pretty Posies flower. A Black Licorice button tied with hemp cord is it’s center.
Here’s the inside of this card with another sentiment from the set—any of these sentiments work SO well with each other, inside and out.
And that’s it! Thank you SO much for stopping by!
