Hey, there! It’s time for another Color Throwdown challenge! Wanda has given us a bright, summer palette to
play work with today.
Fun colors, right??? I was totally inspired by the inspiration photo, too, so I brought out my Die-namics Sunflower for this challenge. My card base is Smoky Slate that I stamped with Versamark and LJD Darling Dots to give it a little interest. Then I stamped my go to set, Abstract Art, in the challenge colors on Primitive White card stock. I made my leaves with Die-namics Royal Leaves and Smoky Slate card stock and finished off with some matching enamel dots. The sentiment is from LJD Pretty Poppies stamped with Smoky Slate ink.
Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from LJD Pretty Poppies.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD253 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
