Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge—An Announcement

I’m pretty excited to let you all in on a little secret I’ve been keeping—I’m one of the newest members of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge team!! I mean REALLY, REALLY excited!!! And what a GREAT sketch for my first challenge—this was so much fun to work with. Get all the details over at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge page—I hope you’ll play along with us.

So, I started with a Kraft card stock base and added a layer of Blu Raspberry card stock stamped with the dots background from DC Large Scale Backgrounds using Sweet Tooth pigment ink. For the horizontal element, I stamped the smaller stripe from Striped Backgrounds diagonally on some Primitive White card stock with Black Licorice ink. I wrapped around some hemp cord and tied on a Blu Raspberry button, then added the ticket from LJD Ticket Note Die-namics stamped with images from LJD Love’s the Ticket and popped that up on foam. I cut a Heart STAX Die-namics from Red Hot card stock and embossed it with Hugs and Kisses Cover-Up Die-namics and pierced it with the arrow from LLD Accent It – Feathers and Arrows Die-namics, using Kraft card stock for the shaft, Black Licorice card stock for the feathers, and silver glitter paper for the tip.

I stamped another sentiment from LJD Love’s the Ticket on the inside with Black Licorice ink and Wild Cherry ink.
