Bubble Bunny

[If you're looking for my Stamp Simply Birthday card and the blog candy, it's here :)]

I'm still loving this Flopsey (looks like I'm not the only one--he appears to be out of stock at this time. Check back soon)!! That little face just slays me! I got to meet Flopsey's (and WTG) illustrator, Christy Beckwith, at CHA. Christy is just the sweetest! And uber talented, to boot!

Flopsey was stamped on a Perfect Paper Panel with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with Copic markers. I paper pieced the tub and the "tile" floor, adding some Copic marker shading to both. I also added some irridescent Stickles to the bubbles. I think the mechanics of this card are pretty obvious. I stamped the bubbly bath bottle, colored it, cut it out, and hung it from the Pacific Point ribbon, tied on with DMC embroidery floss. I didn't have a blue Prima that matched, so I colored a white one with my Copic air brush system. Voila! Instant blue Prima, LOL. A few antique copper brads and the sentiment finished it off!

I'm so glad you stopped by today!

  1. Well that little bunny is a cutie and I haven't seen that artist before that I know of but it made into a really adorable card. We've got temps in the high 90's and such humidity here...can't function. Pat
