It's Flourishes' Sneak Peek time! Today we're sharing some sneaks of a set that you'll reach for over and over--Wedded Bliss. You may notice we're changing things up a bit this release. This set will go live in the store at 9AM CST today. Be sure to check out the Flourishes blog for all the details. And, at 12 NOON CST the Three In a Row Challenge will be posted on the Flourishes blog. You wont want to miss that fun challenge, so be sure to check it out.
I decided to go very formal and elegant with this card. I'm using Classic Ivory card stock for my base and several other layers, along with some taupe card stock and patterned paper.
The focal image sentiment is from the set, as are the flourished end caps. I stamped it on Classic Ivory card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink for the sentiment and the end caps in Sahara Sand, then I cut the sentiment panels out with my Labels Four Nestabilities dies and my Grand Calibur machine. The middle card element was cut out with a Labels Eight Nestabilities die. Some silk ribbon and pearls accent and finish it off well, I think. Simple but elegant--and actually fairly quick to make. Can't beat that combination, can you?
