If you saw the Flourishes blog post HERE, you know we're shaking things up a bit this month for release week. One of the changes is today's challenge. It's a Three In a Row Challenge--you choose card elements from the graphic above and create your card accordingly. How fun is that?? Get all the details at the Flourishes blog HERE.
I had a ball with this challenge and here's what I came up with using the new-and-now-available Wedded Bliss set. I played diagonally, from left bottom to right top, so I'm using "die cut", "flower", and "scallop" for my design, but it would also work vertically, right column top to bottom: "scallop", "ribbon", and "pearl". See how it works? Told you it was fun!!
I stamped the image of the toasting couple with Versamark on pale pink card stock and heat embossed with white fine detail embossing powder. Then I cut it out with a Labels One Nestabilities die and my Grand Calibur, matted it and popped it up on the base, which I cut out with my Grand Labels One dies. Then I added a white silk bow, a rose, and some pearls.
Since I didn't leave myself any room for a sentiment, I decided to finish off the inside and add it there.
Julie Koerber also has a card for this challenge to help inspire you--be sure to check it out!
