Welcome Lisa Johnson to MFT!

MFT has some fabulous news to share today! Lisa Johnson—yes THAT Lisa Johnson is joining the MFT team as an illustrator and design team member! We are incredibly excited about this and we know you will be too. Lisa’s first stamp set and Die-namics dies will be revealed on August 1st during our August Release Teasers and will be available for purchase on August 7th at 10 PM EST. Until then, make sure you follow her at Poppy Paperie to be inspired by her amazing work. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for more details.

I made a card for today that pretty much describes Lisa and her work. I’m using
Inspired by Up, Up and Away for my balloons. I cut them out with my Die-namics Up, Up and Away dies, stamped the images and popped them up on top of some Die-namics Flat-Bottom Clouds die cuts. The sentiment, from Big Greetings, was stamped on a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX die cut and popped up, as well. A few strategically placed crystals complete the look. I went pretty clean and simple in honor of Lisa’s style. Sweet Tooth and Sno Cone MFT card stock was used.

Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from
Big Greetings.

Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I’ll see you back tomorrow with this month’s Creative Challenge!
