I made a bookmark and card set for my project today. The bookmark is designed to fit over a page or pages, with a “flap” on either side. I cut the larger die from patterned paper and then from card stock, adhering the two together for strength. Then I cut out the top layer and added some Die-namics Circle STAX layers along with a Die-namics Mini Doily Circles die cut to dress it up :) I stamped the sentiment on a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX die cut and the open book on one of the circles.
For the card, I stamped that gorgeous sentiment on a Die-namics Textile Rectangle die only die cut. It was larger than the sentiment so I added some patterned paper and a sweet little ribbon to the bottom, then popped it up on foam dots. Some pearly flourishes under the sentiment panel finish it off.
Here’s a close up of the book mark:
This view shows the two “flaps”:
Here’s a close up of just the card:
And the card inside, with another sentiment from the set:
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this project:
The bookmark is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. See the C4C blog for details.
Thanks so MUCH for stopping by today! Hope to see you back tomorrow for à la modes day!
