I chose to work with PI – Loads of Love because it reminds me so much of my mother taking a basket of laundry out to hang on the line. Same dress and apron, too :) Also because I actually love to hang my whites outside and often do.
I stamped her on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, paper pieced her dress and apron and colored the rest with Copic markers. Then I layered the image panel with some Wild Cherry card stock, added a couple of Dew Drops and popped it up on foam dots.
The black and white chevron patterned paper has a border using the new Die-namics Triple Scallop Border die cut and Black Licorice card stock and I’m also using the new Die-namics Medium Leafy Flourish under my flower. WHICH was made with the new Die-namics Layered Rose die. Other MFT products are Banana Split card stock, Gumball Green Card stock, and Sweet Tooth card stock.
I told you on another post that there are several ways to use the new layered rose die and here’s another. Someday soon, I’ll show you exactly how I got this version done. And, of course, I used a couple Die-namics Royal Leaves under the rose.
Here’s a close up of the rose from the side. Just LOOK at the dimension you can achieve! Looks pretty real, right? I love it!
And here’s the inside of my card with a sweet sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back tomorrow for this month’s Die-namics Feature and Pep Rally!
