Are you ready for another MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge? Here’s this week’s sketch. You can find the sketch on the MFT blog and also in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
This week I tried to channel Tim Holtz, LOL! I basically CASE’d one of his gorgeous tags but substituted MFT products in the process. I really love how it turned out. So, essentially, I stamped the framed from Die-namics Vintage Cameo Frame Die & Stamp Set with black craft ink and embossed with black fine detail embossing powder, then stamped the cameo in the center. Then I dry embossed around it and added some paint with a dabber in turquoise. After that I did some sponging with a couple Distress Inks and tied on some seam binding. I finished up with some Die-namics Royal Roses made from Kraft Core paper (I LOVE this stuff and will be getting more!) and some Die-namics Royal Leaves. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome die cut.
The base card has a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX die cut and a border using my Die-namics Faux Crochet Border die cut. Some twine and some distressing finish it off :)
Here’s the inside with a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Mothers.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
