MFT June New Product Launch

productrelease1_2014jun10

It’s time!! MFT’s June Release is NOW!! All of the products we’ve been showing you for the past week are available for purchase so hop on over to the MFT store and get yours! I’m going to show you a few cards focusing on Joy Ride Die-namics set, along with a few other just released products.

Oh, my goodness, I can’t TELL you how much fun I’ve had with this new Joy Ride Die-namics!!! It is just chocked full of possibilities! I have four very different cards for you to show it’s versatility. There’s a lot to take in so grab your drink of choice and settle back.

My first card is on the simple side and could be for a guy, except I used Razzle Berry card stock under the license plate ;-) I created this little scene by first mixing some Steel Gray refill and Kraft refill with embossing paste and stenciling with MPD Stone Wall stencil—I thought it would look a bit like cobblestones. Then I created the car with metallic silver card stock, Steel Gray Card stock, Sweet Tooth card stock, Red Hot card stock, and Tangy Orange card stock. I added some clear acetate card stock for the window and popped it up on a Berrylicious card stock base. I added a Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics sun and some Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics clouds to finish it off. I love that it has two “exhaust pipes” and I used silver mirror card stock for them. How totally cute!

Since this is a birthday card, I stamped a sentiment from LJD Birthday Greetings on the inside.

My road trip Joy Ride Die-namics card is a little more elaborate.

productrelease2_2014jun10

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stenciled Sun Ray Stencil with Lemon Drop ink. I added some hills and trees with Campy Tree Lines Die-namics using Sour Apple card stock and Gumdrop Green card stock. At the bottom I added a LLD Accent It – Hit the Road Die-namics “road” made from Black Licorice card stock, then built my car from Blu Raspberry card stock, Steel Gray card stock, Red Hot card stock, Tangy Orange card stock, and clear acetate and silver mirror card stock. I added Nightshift Blue card stock under the license plate to make the sentiment show better. I popped it up on foam and added clouds from Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and it was done.

The inside has a sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings.

For my third Joy Ride Die-namics card, I tried to inject a little symbolism ;-)

productrelease3_2014jun10
You know, just married and future’s so bright, and all that? This card also started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and a Sun Ray Stencil element using Lemon Drop ink. This time I over stamped the sun with Romantic Script Background stamped with Steel Gray Hybrid ink, stamped off once. Then I created my car, using black mirror card stock, Sweet Tooth card stock, Red Hot card stock, Tangy Orange card stock, and, of course, clear acetate and silver mirror card stocks. I cut the cans from metallic silver card stock and popped them up on foam on a silver cord.

Just look at how that mirror card stock shines—just like a real limo, LOL! And you can see the clear acetate in action here, too.

The inside has a sentiment from LJD Together Forever, stamped with
Steel Gray Hybrid ink.

My final Joy Ride Die-namics card was totally for fun! Does this bring out your inner flower child?

productrelease4_2014jun10
This one started with a Sno Cone card stock base and I added the black top with Black Licorice card stock cut with LLD Accent It – Hit the Road Die-namics with a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock for the center line. Then I created my car, starting with Sweet Tooth card stock and stamping it all over with a flower image from WBD You’re So Special to Me with Black Licorice Hybrid ink. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and added the trim as usual. I also added a silver glitter paper peace sign in the back window. Since I didn’t have room for a rainbow on my car, I put one in the sky ;-) It was made with Rainbow Die-namics and Wild Cherry card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, Lemon Drop card stock, Sour Apple card stock, Berrylicious card stock. Grape Jelly card stock, Red Hot card stock, Tangy Orange card stock, along with an indigo shade. Some Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics clouds finished it off.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from last month’s
PI Just the Way You Are. Appropriate, don’t you think?

And that’s it from me! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR Joy Ride Die-namics in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that
MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, June 12. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on the Release Rewind Day Two post on Friday, June 13.
