Hello, everyone! I finally had some time to give a Simon Says Stamp Challenge a try. This card is for the Wednesday Winter Inspiration Challenge.
My card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next, from more Sweet Tooth card stock, I cut a Polaroid Cover-Up Die-namics and stamped the sentiment, from LJD Snowflake Splendor with Wild Cherry ink. I tied around some baker’s twine and set it aside. On a background of Grout Gray cardstock, I built my woody snow scene using the tree from Spooky Scene Die-namics and Natural card stock, Kraft card stock, and Chocolate Brown card stock. To give them a little more realism I swiped them all with a white paint dauber and adhered them to the gray background. To created the snow, I mixed some Sweet Tooth pigment ink with Sheer Shimmer Mist MIX-ables and splattered it on. I also added some more pronounced “snow flakes” with a white pen. I adhered that to my card base, then popped the Polaroid frame up on foam. I added a couple of red birds using Framed Lovebirds Centerpieces Die-namics and Wild Cherry card stock and finished off with some clear sequins.
Here’s a close up of my scene:
I stamped another sentiment from LJD Snowflake Splendor on the inside with Wild Cherry dye ink.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you back soon!
