Merry & Bright–C4C #265

Hi, everyone, it’s time for another Crazy 4 Challenges card! This month Heather is our hostess and today’s challenge is a color challenge using an unusual winter color combo: hot pink, coral/peach, turquoise, and gold. Just an FYI, we are taking the last two Saturdays off this month so there’ll only be two challenges—we’ll be back on January 3, rarin’ to go :)

I love unusual color combos for Christmas cards so that’s what I did. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock I spread some embossing paste through Small Brick Wall stencil. After that dried I matted it with metallic gold card stock and stamped the sentiment, from DC Ornament Banner Builder, with Delicata Gold ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder and popped the whole thing up on foam. I cut Ornament Banner Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped the ornaments using Delicata Gold ink, Peach Bellini dye ink, Razzle Berry dye ink, and Blu Raspberry dye ink, then popped the banner up on foam.

Another sentiment from DC Ornament Banner Builder was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice dye ink.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you, including our November Guest Designer, Holly Flores!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C265.

Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
