Hey, there! It’s Wednesday noon so it must be time for this week’s MFTWSC! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
Love this sketch! My card started with a Black Licorice card stock base. To that I added a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Spotlight Sentiments in Black Licorice dye ink, a strip of Black Licorice card stock, then another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with embossing paste stenciled on using Herringbone Bricks stencil. Next, on Black Licorice card stock, cut with Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I popped that up on foam and added some colorful Balloon STAX Die-namics cut from Limelight card stock stamped with Limelight dye ink and Fine Check Background, Persimmon card stock stamped with Diagonal Stripes Background and Persimmon dye ink, and Wild Wisteria card stock stamped with Wild Wisteria dye ink and Happy Birthday Background. I added black hemp strings to the balloons and popped them up on foam.
Another sentiment from Birthday Sentiments was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you again soon!
