It’s time!! Time to start MFT’s September Release Countdown! I’m so excited about this month’s release—everything is just incredible—but I pretty much say that every month, don’t I? ;-) Today we’re featuring LJD Delicate Pretty Poppies Stamp Set, Thanks so Very Much Stamp Set, Fall Florals Stamp Set, Fall Florals Die-namics, Etched Flower Background, Stitched Cover-Up Companion - Vertical Die-namics, Fresh Squeezed Chevron Patterned Paper Pack, and Homespun Gingham Patterned Paper Pack. Release is on September 1st at 10pm—be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog.
I am just so excited to have this LJD Delicate Pretty Poppies stamp set! It’s must like LJD Pretty Poppies except now we can color if we don’t want to stamp—absolute best of both worlds! And the new set uses the old dies—more mileage from your Die-namics—win-win in my book! For my card, I started with a Grout Gray card stock base, then cut Stitched Cover-Up Companion - Vertical Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped the sentiment from LJD Delicate Pretty Poppies with Black Licorice hybrid ink. Next I cut a piece of Ranger watercolor paper to fit behind it and did a wash with a Zig Clean Color Brush Marker.
Next I cut LJD Poppies and Leaves Die-namics from more watercolor paper, stamped the coordinating images from LJD Delicate Pretty Poppies with Black Licorice hybrid ink using my MISTI, and water colored with Zig markers. I arranged my flowers and leaves, adhered them, and was done!
And that’s it for the first day of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
