Hey, Gullfriend–MFT July Hits & Highlights

hitsandhighlights_2018jul31

It’s July! The heart of summer calls for diving into your crafting head-first. Summer fun is a (cool) breeze to integrate into your card making thanks to an endless variety of MFT products featuring sun, sand, and water. We’ve challenged the team to step up their summer game for this month’s Hits & Highlights. Grab some lemonade and check out their creations!

Hi, everyone, thanks for joining me today for the July Hits & Highlights feature from MFT. I love doing seaside cards and it’s been a while since I visited Seaside Seagulls so I pulled them out for this card. I adore these guys!!

First up I did the sky with Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blue Breeze dye ink, then I added Ocean Waves Die-namics cut from Summer Splash card stock with the sentiment stamped on the bottom and popped the layers up on foam tape.

Then I stamped the images with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers, and added them to the scene, also popped up on foam. I added the sun, cut from Sunshine card stock with Beach Scene Builder Die-namics and was done!

This was a fun card to make! Be sure to stop by the
MFT Blog to see what some of my team mates have for you today. Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
