It’s just not a birthday celebration without candles…a single number candle for tiny tots is always a winner while a towering inferno of colorful candles can’t be beaten for those of an “advanced” age ;) Light it up this month — we can’t wait to see your cards featuring candles!
Age is just a number, amirite? And who’s counting, right? I love this sentiment from Sassy Pants Birthday Greetings so I thought I’d play off of it for my design today. To begin, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock panel and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I adhered the googly eyes to mimic shocked faces, LOL!
That was the easy part ;-) Well, the rest wasn’t *hard* it was just a bit time-consuming but it was worth it. I cut the candles from Birthday Cake Die-namics multiple times and colored them with Copic markers. Then I dropped a few at a time and adhered them where they fell so I’d get a random look. Once they were all adhered it was done!
And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Another great card, Barbara! This one looks like it took a little extra time!! You just dropped the candles?! Genius! At least the flame wasn't diecut separate from the candle...that would've have taken TOO MUCH time! :)
