Sending Prayers - MFT Color Challenge #118

Hi all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Grout Gray, Cement Gray, Coral Crush, and Limelight. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I thought these colors called for a relatively simple design so first I sponged my background with Cement Gray and Coral Crush dye inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I cut Birch Trees Die-namics from Grout Gray Card stock and sponged the edges with Cement Gray dye ink.

Then I cut Grassy Hills Die-namics from Limelight card stock, sponged the edges with Limelight dye ink and adhered the larger panel to the card front. Next I added the trees, one adhered directly and the other two popped up on foam tape. The sentiment, from Deepest Sympathy Stamp Set was stamped several times with Cement Gray dye ink on the second Limelight card stock panel and popped up on foam tape. The leaves were cut from Limelight card stock and adhered with liquid glue for the finish.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
