Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I followed this sketch pretty closes for a change ;-) I started by creating the main panel by cutting Blueprints 33 from Ranger Watercolor paper and heat embossed Roses All Over Background with gold detail embossing powder, then applied a watercolor wash.
Next I cut the bottom panel, again from watercolor paper, with Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics, applied a watercolor wash, and splattered it with gold acrylic ink and a small art brush. Both panels were adhered with foam tape.
Then I added Fab Foliage Die-namics, cut from Limelight card stock and three Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics, cut from Tickled Pink, Peach Bellini, and Coral Crush card stocks. I finished off with a sentiment from Essential Sentiments, heat embossed on Translucent Vellum with gold detail embossing powder and matted with Gold Shine card stock.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
