Thank You for Your Hospitality–Color Throwdown Challenge #547

Hi there, welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Lori is our hostess and she’s challenging us to a bevy of tropical colors base on her fun inspiration piece.

I worked off that tropical vibe for my card today. I started by sponging a background using all four of the challenge colors (inks listed below). Then I stamped up some images from BB Polynesian Paradise with Extreme Black hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them out.

The sponged background was adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and the sentiment was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink, then the stamped images were adhered, mostly with hot glue and the pineapple was popped up in the middle of the flowers with foam tape.
