Birthday Blessings - Color Throwdown Challenge #552

Hi everyone, welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge and this week I’m the hostess! If you follow me on IG you know I’m also a knitter so this cake really spoke to me so I chose it as my inspiration piece this week. I hope it will speak to you, too and you’ll play along with us!

I chose to work with Beautiful Bloom Stamp Set and Die-namics from MFT for my card today. I stamped it on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, cut it out, and colored it with Copic markers then set it aside. I used a Cement Gray card base, added a Sweet Tooth card stock panel for the card front, and popped up Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames cut from Silver Sparkle card stock on foam tape to meet the challenge and add some interest and dimension.

Next I adhered the colored flower, also on foam tape, and the sentiment, from Bitty Birthday Wishes using Rectangle Word Window Die-namics and finished off with some enamel dots.
