MFT July Card Kit Countdown, Day One: Let's Toast (With a Twist)

Hi all and welcome to Day One Countdown for MFT's July Card Kit, Let's Toast (With a Twist). This kit has a fun interactive Die-namics included that will have you toasting everybody you know! Release is on July 23 at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for more samples from the Design Team and to see a video showing you how it works--it's so fun and easy!

For my card today I did a little scene with a couple of toasting glasses of wine. I started by applying a very thin layer of molding paste on Sweet Tooth card stock through English Brick Wall Stencil and after it dried I replaced the stencil and sponged some Fired Brick Distress Ink on top. The mechanism is under the card front on a separate panel so the card base is not affected at all.

The wine glasses were cut from No Line Coloring card stock and colored with Copic markers then added to the Meet in the Middle Interactive Die-namics and tested.

Here's a little video clip to show the action:

Then I stamped the sentiment from A Toast to You Stamp Set on some wood card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and popped it up on foam. The "Cheers!" sentiment was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Peek-a-Boo Wheel Die-namics and also popped up on foam. Interactive Labels Stamp Set was used for the pull tab. How cute is this???

That's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Two!
