Happy You Day–MFT July Release Countdown, Day Three

Hello and welcome to Day Three of MFT’s July Release Countdown! Remember that Release is on July 9th at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for all the details. Today we’re previewing PI Happy You Day Stamp Set, PI Happy You Day Die-namics, Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes Stamp Set, Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes Die-namics, and Celebrate with Cake Die-namics.

Look at that sassy little PI!!! She is adorable and she knows it, LOL! I just love this image! To begin my card I created the background using Mini Cloud Edges and Grassy Edges Stencils. I stamped the sentiment then popped it up on foam over a strip of some happy new patterned paper, Over the Rainbow Paper Pack.

Next I stamped the image with Extreme Black Hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics and colored it with Copic markers. I paper pieced the balloon and here’s a close up of her little jacket—I added metallic pen strokes to add some sparkle and shine to her feather collar :)

Then I adhered her with foam tape and finished off with some enamel dots. I I wanted to incorporate the pattern paper colors in the card design so since the background was cool blue and green I went with hot colors for her outfit—I think it works!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT’s July Release Countdown!!
