MFT August Birthday Project Challenge–Gift Cards

Choosing a gift card you know your recipient will appreciate serves the dual purpose of easing the stress of your shopping and allowing the recipient the joy of selecting the perfect gift for themselves. We know that as a card maker though, you love making the presentation just as thoughtful as the gift so this month is your chance to shine! Join our team in sharing creative ideas for housing gift cards in your card design.

Slider Surprise Die-namics is a perfect vehicle for presenting a gift card and it’s been too long since I used it so that’s what I did. I started by applying a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper and cut it out for the front of my slider, then assembled it and placed the gift card inside.

Then I stamped two images from Fluttering Friends Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the slider front, the butterfly on Grand Greenery Die-namics cut from Sour Apple card stock, The sentiment was stamped on the flap and I finished off with some Cut Clouds Outlines Die-namics.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
