Final Countdown—One Day Until MFT’s November Release!!

Hello and welcome to the final day of
MFT’s November Release Countdown! Release is tomorrow, November 5th at 10am, Eastern so set you alarms! Be sure to check by the MFT Blog today for all the details! Today we’re previewing Fantasy Florals Stamp Set, Fantasy Florals Die-namics, Mod Link 1 Die-namics, Mod Link 2 Die-namics (Free with $60), and Tree-o Stamp Set (Free with ANY Purchase).

Two more cards for you today to finish out the November Countdown!! First up is Fantasy Florals Stamp Set and Die-namics. I decided to do the spotlight treatment for this card. This is a fairly large image so it adapts itself well to it. I stamped the entire large image on Sweet Tooth card stock and cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics. Then I stamped what looks to me like a succulent—it could also be brightly colored as a dahlia, I think, too. I colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out then set them both aside. The background was sponged on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Bundled Sage and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks, cut out with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1, and popped up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. The large image was also popped up on foam as was the “succulent”.

I added two colors from Watercolor Wash Paper Pack, cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips and Starburst Sentiments strips, a strip of Black & White Stripes Paper Pack, and the sentiment, from Well, Hello Stamp Set, stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment Strip with Extreme Black Hybrid ink. Sweet Hello Die-namics was cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and twice from scraps, stacked with spray adhesive, and added to the card front. Enamel dots finished it off. Sweet!!

My next card brings you an unexpected rainbow :)

I started by cutting Mod Links 2 Die-namics from a rainbow assortment of MFT card stocks: Wild Cherry, Orange Zest, Pineapple, Sour Apple, Berrylicious, and Grape Jelly and adhered them at a diagonal on a Sweet Tooth card stock panel with spray adhesive. Once I trimmed all the ends I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Next I cut Stitched Clouds Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered them with foam tape, then heat embossed the sentiment from Rainbow Greetings Stamp Set on Translucent Vellum cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment strips and adhered it with clear foam tape. I finished off with a few clear droplets.

And that’s all from me today and for MFT’s November Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the November MFT and Friends feature where you’ll get lots of inspiration using the release.
