Final Countdown! One Day Until MFT's January Release!

Hi all, welcome to the last day of MFT’s January Release Countdown!!! Release is tomorrow at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Don’t you love this Cover-Up! When I first saw the die I wondered how well the individual hearts would show up and WOW!! It’s amazing—I love it! So, to start, I cut it from Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and sponged, top to bottom, with Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Festive Berries Distress Ink. Then I sprinkled some clean water and spritzed it with Glitter Mist and I love how it turned out! Next I adhered some clear acetate card stock to the back and created a shaker element, filling it with gold heart confetti and gold seed beads. I closed up the back with Black Licorice card stock and adhered it to a Black Licorice card stock base.

Next I heat embossed Smitten With You Stamp set on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and adhered it directly to the card front. Lots of Love Die-namics was cut from Gold Sparkle card stock and twice from Black Licorice card stock, and stacked with spray adhesive, then adhere above the sentiment strip, also with spray adhesive.
