MFT’s March Card Kit is Icing on the Cupcake—Released and Now Available for Purchase!!

Hello everyone!
MFT’s March Card Kit, Icing on the Cupcake, is now available for purchase in the MFT Online Boutique! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. I have a couple of cards for you using this adorable kit and I had a ton of fun making them.

I created a shaker element on my first card using Cupcake and Sprinkles Die-namics and Hey There, Cupcake Die-namics filled with Prills to match the Spring Whimsy Paper Pack accents. I backed the negative die cut sentiment with Tropical Teal card stock and Copic markers to create a rainbow effect on the Cupcake sentiment.

I sponged the background before cutting for the shaker pouch and finished off with some glitter enamel dots.

For my second card I stamped the sentiment from Sugar-Coated Sentiments at the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then dry embossed Sprinkles Stencil and popped it up on the base with foam tape. I cut three copies of Cupcakes and Sprinkles Die-namics, colored everything with Copic markers using rainbow colors for the sprinkles. After they were assembled I popped them up on the card front, also with foam tape.

To coordinate with the sentiment, I added some hearts to each cupcake, cut from Wild Cherry card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon! Now go shop!
