Hello–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #479

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

It took me a little while to come up with an idea for this one—I have to go out of the box every chance I get, you know ;-) So I looked through stamp sets and dies to see if something clicked and eventually I decided on different sized fish for the elements. I’m using BB Friends with Fins, BB Gill Friends, and Fish You Were Here Stamp Sets and Die-namics for them and created an underwater scene. First I did my background using Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks along with Sunrise Radiating Rays on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. I splattered it with some clean water, heat embossed the sentiment, and stamped the little fishes with Extreme Black hybrid ink.

Once the background was done, I adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. The images were stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring Card Stock, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on foam for dimension to finish it off.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
