Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Smooth White, Sno Cone, Blu Raspberry, and Orange Zest. I don’t know if any of you remember, but MFT used to have a Plaid Builder stamp set that I used so much to make backgrounds and I miss it!!! So I thought I’d give Candy Land Stencil a try to see what it would do and I’m pleased to say I’m very happy with this simple background and I’m encouraged to try more. For this one, I sponged Blu Raspberry dye ink on Sno Cone Card stock then adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base—I’m out of Smooth White—with foam tape.
Then I stamped Flowers in Bloom stamp set on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored it with Copic markers.
Next I popped it up on the card front with foam tape and heat embossed the sentiment, from Rainbow Greetings Stamp Set, on Black Licorice card stock cut with Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics, also popped up on foam for the finish!
